We are looking for a Data Warehouse Tester / ETL Tester for projects in the financial sector, including a short-term migration project (DataStage → Ab Initio) in the banking industry. The role combines testing of data warehouses and ETL processes with support for the migration and modernization of clients’ data systems.
Responsibilities:
• 1–3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the financial sector
• Experience testing data warehouses or ETL processes
• Very good knowledge of SQL (Oracle, MS SQL, or similar)
• Ability to write complex queries (JOIN, UNION, INTERSECT, etc.)
• Experience working with SQL tools (e.g., SQL Developer, SSMS)
• Knowledge of Jira and test management tools (e.g., Xray, TestRail, Zephyr, QMetry)
• Knowledge of at least one ETL tool (e.g., DataStage, Talend, Informatica, Ab Initio)
• Ability to analyze data and work with technical documentation
• Good communication and collaboration skills with technical and business teams
• Independence, attention to detail, and ability to work under time pressure
• Communicative proficiency in English
Preferred
• Experience with data migrations or modernization projects
• Knowledge of IBM DataStage and/or Ab Initio
• Experience in the area of customer data (KYC, onboarding)
• Certifications in ISTQB, Agile (Scrum/SAFe), SQL/PL/SQL, or DWH
