For our client we are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join a dynamic IT team. If you have a passion for working with data, are familiar with cloud technology and can optimize and monitor cloud solutions – this position is for you!
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT industry, including at least 3.5 years working with data in the cloud, proven by commercial projects deployed in production.
Advanced knowledge of SQL and ability to use it on Microsoft and other technology solutions.
Proficient knowledge of Git and CI/CD methodologies and tools.
Experience in developing and optimizing data processing solutions (ETL, ELT), supported by technical design and solution alternatives.
Ability to monitor, diagnose and troubleshoot cloud, infrastructure planning and costing.
Knowledge of Delta Lake and Data Lakehouse concepts.
Knowledge of SMP and MPP architectures with examples of solutions based on these architectures.
Experience in migrating on-premise solutions to the cloud and knowledge of basic migration types.
Knowledge of mechanisms related to secure storage and processing of data in the cloud.
Very good knowledge of storage and computing services offered by Azure cloud provider.
Experience in working directly with clients.
Knowledge of English at an intermediate level (minimum B2).
